Rediscovering Biblical Christianity Part 2 – “Don’t Waste Your Brain”

Mar 15th, 2009 | By Douglas K. Adu-Boahen | Category: 21st Century Reformation, Bible Study, Theologica, Together for the Gospel

As part of my extended series on posts on Rediscovering Biblical Christianity, I revised an article I wrote at the request of my buddy S.O. about not wasting your brain and the importance of cultivating a robust theology for Christian living (some these days *cough – Emergents* will tell it’s not possible but I beg to differ). Last night I was reading a blog post round at Parchment and Pen and I remembered the article I wrote. So I dusted it off, wrote a postscript to the article and here it is. Be warned – at five pages and 2,900 words, it’s a little on the lengthy side. Lord willing, next time, I’ll get into the five solas and their importance in rediscovering Biblical Christianity.

  1. Douglas, I appreciate the work you put into your research. This is another excellent paper. I love, and agree with, your assessment of Finney’s Systematic Theology: absolutely horrid.

  2. Well, thanks, Bro. Stan. If one person profits from it, it makes it very much worth it. I actually had that in my e-Sword – waste of harddrive space…
