RE: Fake Moves of the Holy Spirit
Oct 23rd, 2007 | By Douglas K. Adu-Boahen | Category: Lying Spirits and False TeachingHi all,
It’s the Black Reforming Kid again. Just finished reading the blog posted by Independent Conservative, down on his blog. As an ex-Pentecostal who did some research for last years Azusa Centennial, please allow me to add to what IC posted.
Charles Fox Parham, a disgruntled Methodist, was amongst other things, involved in Masonic practices and a known homosexual. Then again, the trend of moral impropriety amongst Pentecostal-Charismatics is nothing new. Allow me to present my evidence before the court, if you will.
One of Pentecostalism’s leading theologians, Rev. Finis Jennings Dake, author of the cesspool that is the Dake Annotated Reference Bible, was involved in an incident with a young girl, and also violated the Mann Act. Fast forward a few years, to Jimmy Swaggart (who interestingly credits his “Bible education” to Dake)…you all probably know the story better than I do. Then there’s Benny Hinn, of whom we have video evidence with him smoking heroin; Kenneth Copeland, who, according to reports, is a 33rd-degree Freemason (though I’m still in research on the matter…), and of course Kenneth Hagin, the plagiarist who has spewed more false doctrine into Christianity today than the Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormons and Adventists combined.
Well, I’ll rap it up there. Until, next time, stay in the Word.
BRK.
